Authors

Abstract

This work reflects on the author's personal experience of fatphobia during her adolescence and the negative impact of the sociocultural environment on her and her family. From an autobiographical perspective, the author uses the text " Feminismos del Sur: nudos epistemológicos para articular una investigación otra" by Mariana Alvarado and María Eugenia Hermida (2022) as a methodology, developing her work from three knots. Thus, she invites us to reflect, redefine this experience and act consciously to transform the patriarchal behaviors that continue to prevail in our current society.

Keywords:

Fatphobia, autobiographical perspective, patriarchal behaviors
