Reformas al Sistema de Pensiones y Pensión Básica Garantizada en Chile
Abstract
El artículo discute la viabilidad macroeconómica del establecimiento de un sistema de pensiones garantizadas en Chile tanto para afiliados al actual sistema de capitalización como para los no afiliados. Se sostiene que el aseguramiento de pensiones es propio de las democracias sociales modernas. Sobre los costos de la implementación en Chile, éstos podrían ser controlados, por ejemplo, cambiando las edades de retiro. Finalmente, el artículo analiza las propuestas de reforma previsional impulsada por el gobierno de Michelle Bachelet.
